2 B Natural By Design ia a non-profit organization whose mission was created when the founder attended a prison ministry at the First Church Of God, in Columbus, Ohio. The focus of the group was ex-prisoners.  They realized that doors were closed to inmates attempting to become more productive in society.  Many former inmates incurred difficulties securing employment opportunities and elderly former inmates faced even more difficult challenges because of oge and having been incarcerated for such a long period.  The prison ministry concurrently discovered that the children of inmates were also being affected negatively.

      Many of the children of former inmates were facing challenges in school with their grades and behavior, both in and out of school.  These two challenges were a manifestation of many things.

    In 2001, the founder applied for and subsequently sequred the non-profit status with a 501c3 rating. 

    There have been a variety of programs that have been developed by 2 B Natural By Design, the most recent being working with No Child Left Behind.  This is a federally funded program that provides tutoring to eligible students.
